Spiritual foundation

For the past 40 + years Sycamore Hills has provided a special ministry to Pre-Schoolers and their families. We realize the demands that are placed on today's families and the importance of a spiritual foundation even in the early years.

PHILOSOPHY AND PURPOSE:

To minister to preschool children by providing experiences which help them to develop spiritually, mentally, socially, emotionally and physically.  This is to be accomplished by providing learning and developmental experiences consistent with the Christian principles of Sycamore Hills Baptist Church based on the authority of the Bible.  The curriculum provides experiences to guide the preschool child:         

        In understanding himself and his world.

        In working and playing alone and with others.

       In improving attitudes and habits of thinking.

       In acquiring skills and information for everyday life

SHBC Preschool provides a balance of play and structured learning, ensuring that children develop spiritually and academically in a fun and engaging setting. Through creative activities, interactive play and skilled teachers, SHBC Preschool contributes to a child’s cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.

We believe that each child is a special and unique individual created by God with specific abilities and differences.  Our purpose is to create an environment that enables children to develop into all God created them to be. 

SCHOOL HOURS and Dates:

We are now enrolling for the Fall of 2024. School hours are Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 9:30-2:00. 

Regular School Year: Wednesday after Labor Day-Mid May. We are off for Christmas Break and a Spring Break in March.
